What is a great home business that actually works?

I am tired of the “never-ending” search for the genuine perfect home business that ACTUALLY works!
I’m starting to believe that there really isn’t one.
Is there?

All home based businesses work to a degree. It is usually the “worker” who does not. However most do not live up to the absorbent claims they make.
The first rule of success is to enjoy what you will do…If it’s work; even if good…it most likely will fail.
Many people read the story about the 90 year old Miltie millionaire who still works 12 to 14 hours a day. They say, “gee, if I had that much money I would not work”. However; in actuality this man is not working. He has a hobby he loves…A by product is the money he makes.
Making a decision is based on several things.
1. cost…Can you afford the start up
2. Time; determine how much time you will need to make it a success and if you are willing to put it in.
3. Is it something you Can believe in whole heatedly? If nOT, it is hard ot sell, even harder to motivate yourself to sell it.
4. Check the company out….Do they have a track record. Where does the product or service come from…is there competition. (by the way…if there is competition this might be a good one to look at; especially if you have heard of it….Why? people are buying the product already…so now…it boils down to who is most motivated to go and get the business.
If I were buying a home based business I would most likely by a business that provides both product and services to people and where the start up cost is low and the support team in place.
A home business that provides multiple products and services is usually best.
A great way to see such flow is to search the web and find companies starting up…growing…in need of entrepreneurs. I saw one the other day called wealth ways.net It is quite interesting….You can virtually choose what you want to do and the benefits are good. I talked with a director and it will if nothing else; stir your juices and motivate you in the right direction.
First, I have to tell you that no home business that is great. It usually only reach the level satisfactory business. What satisfactory home business that works? Try these:
1. Internet business, start with e-bay
2. Multi Level Marketing : Amway is a good start
3. Investing in capital market : contact your local dealer
4. Acoounting system for medium enterprice: use a modified software such as peach tree, MYOB,etc
Goodluck
Yes there is! But it takes researching, which it sounds like you are. I’m hoping you haven’t gotten burned by a company. I did and it almost made me pass up the company I work with now. If you would like some more info, email me. Good liuck either way!
The misconception is that the home-based business will actually do all the ‘work’, but it’s not the business that must ‘work’, it’s the person in the business.
That being said, there are businesses that require less professional skills (such as ’selling’) because there is a call center available to speak to the prospects. (Such as gettoknowcoastal.com). This is one that works for me because I have some level of discomfort with the ’selling’ side to it. It is much more effective for me to just advertise the business (online or offline) and let the prospects talk to the call center staff.
The other business I like is Send Out Cards (gettoknowSOC.com) because it appeals to the everyday person as well as businesses - it’s easier to build a business when there is a wider audience. If you get too specialized with your product it is harder to find customers.
Keep looking and asking questions. If you narrow down to one or two, I think you can ask about them here to get more detailed answers. Each business is different and you need to find one to fit your personality.
Good luck!
